About Us

What is the Cowtown Indie Bazaar? : The Cowtown Indie Bazaar is an annual handmade and vintage show produced by North Texas M.A.D.E., Inc.

The event started in the fall of 2010 and was quickly followed by a spring event in 2011. The first shows were coordinated by the Etsy Fort Worth Team leadership, however there was a change in leadership soon after, and the Cowtown Indie Bazaar was put on hold until 2014 when North Texas M.A.D.E. took over the organization and brought this amazing handmade shopping event back to life.

Many shoppers and handmade vendors were happy to come back when Cowtown Indie Bazaar made it's re-debut in December of 2014 and again in December of 2015. Without fail, our loyal shoppers continue to come back, lining up hours before the event, eager to complete their holiday shopping with the curated selection of handmade vendors we bring to Fort Worth each year.

It is our commitment to provide an indoor, climate controlled, family friendly event featuring over 75 handmade vendors and more.

Who is North Texas M.A.D.E., Inc.? : North Texas M.A.D.E., Inc. is a hand-selected group of all volunteer, all handmade artists spreading the word about the benefits of buying handmade, supporting area artists, and buying local throughout the DFW metroplex. North Texas M.A.D.E. sponsors Team Etsy Fort Worth, as a team within a team. Team Etsy Fort Worth is not affiliated with Etsy.com.

Since its inception in the fall of 2010, the Cowtown Indie Bazaar has provided a venue to connect handmade artists with the public.

"This is a great show to get the shopping season started with a bang!" - Nix Johnson, House of Smash

"The Cowtown Indie Bazaar was the most organized event I have yet to participate in! I can't wait to apply for your Spring Show." - Lianne Nichols, Lizziebees

"CIB rocked the house! To call it a "craft fair" just doesn't do it justice. It was truly a handmade ART show! Everything was so beautiful, the music was fantastic and the organizers of the event were very thoughtful and accommodating. I'm ready for the next one!!!" - Crystal Ellis, Lil Annibell's Soap Co.
